Klutch Athletics is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager who will take ownership of our social media presence. This role requires a passionate individual who can live, breathe, and drive our social media footprint, ensuring alignment with our brand values and voice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across various platforms, creating compelling content, and engaging with our audience to build a strong community around the Klutch Athletics brand.

Content Creation and Management:
Develop, curate, and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms (currently focused on Instagram, with plans for expansion).
Create a robust social media calendar and execute planned campaigns, promotions, and content strategies.
Generate innovative ideas for content that align with Klutch Athletics’ brand voice, which sits at the intersection of sport, culture, and community.
Platform Strategy Development:
Expand Klutch Athletics' presence on additional platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter.
Stay on top of social media trends and create content that resonates with our target audience of young athletes, aligning with our brand's focus on performance, innovation, and style.
Community Engagement:
Engage with our audience, respond to comments, and build relationships with followers.
Develop and execute strategies for community-building, emphasizing Klutch Athletics’ core values of sport, culture, and community connection.
Collaboration and Partnership:
Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, product, and marketing, to align social media strategies with overall brand goals.
Work closely with New Balance’s social media team to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of social media strategies and campaigns.
Utilize insights to continually optimize and improve content performance and engagement.

Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and tools, with a proven ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies.
Strong creative skills, including content creation, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive content strategy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
Passion for sports culture, particularly basketball and American football, and a desire to connect with and build communities.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with digital content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising is a plus.
Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
2 to 4 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the sports, lifestyle, or apparel industries.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates based in the Los Angeles area.
Occasional travel may be required to LA and other cities for team meetings, photoshoots, and events (approximately quarterly).
